Cleanup storage when copying an environment

Modified on Wed, 10 Sep at 9:39 AM

In this article, we will show you how to free up capacity with the E-invoice product after creating a Sandbox environment by copying a Production environment.

There are two options for freeing up storage capacity:

  1. Using a task queue
  2. Manually starting storage release

Storage cleanup using a Job Queue

For this option, enable the Enable Storage Cleanup field on the electronic signature setup page, in the Production environment:

If this switch is turned on, a task queue item will be automatically created when copying the Production environment to the Sandbox. By starting this queue, the signed e-invoices stored in the Electronic Document Entries and the related source documents will be deleted in the Sandbox environment.

Start the Clear Electr. Doc. Entr. AVEI task number 42019894 with the Restart button.

Attention! Depending on the number of electronic documents, the task may take up to several hours to run.

Manually starting storage cleanup

To manually start storage release, go to the Electronic Document Enties list. Here, you can start the Delete Electronic Document Entries operation from the menu:

Confirm your deletion intention in the pop-up window:

The storage release functions are only available in the SANDBOX environment, they cannot be used in the Production environment.
