1.3. EKÁER Exchange Rate
In EKÁER notifications, value must always be taken into account in Hungarian Forint (HUF). However, there are a number of transactions that take place in foreign currency, so the conversion must be ensured.
There are strict rules of conversion, which details you can find in official EKÁER regulation. The most important part of it, that conversion into HUF, must take place at the MNB’s official exchange rate valid on the last day of the previous calendar year, and it is authoritative for the following calendar year.

Eg.: in case of euro the last official MNB exchange rate was: 365,13 Ft/1 euro (31.12.2020)
