1.2. EKÁER Users
One of the basic conditions for sending EKÁER notifications is that the user must have a registered account in the official EKÁER system of Hungarian Tax Office, and these data must be filled on the EKÁER User Card in Business Central. Application takes the credentials from this card and the associated tables.
With the help of the search function find EKÁER Users list.
Please click on the ‘New’ button, and start to enter the relevant information:
- User ID – with the help of the dropdown list, please select your username
- Name – the application fills this field automatically from Business Central user card
- Last Modified – the application fills this field automatically, you cannot edit the value
It is important to know that each user can only enter and retrieve their own card credentials. Thus, it is advisable to make this setting for those who will actively use the application themselves!
Set authentication data
Choose Actions/Set Authentication button.
Please fill the fields on the page:
- EKÁER User Name – enter the username used during registration on the official EKÁER website
- EKÁER Password – enter the password used during registration on the official EKÁER website
- EKÁER XML Signature Key – enter the XML signature key received on the official EKÁER website. This information can be found in the Manage Users menu, and called XML Communicaton Key.
- EKÁER Password Hash – this field is not editable, it’s calculated by the application with the help of the above mentioned three fields.
This operation can be performed only on your own EKÁER User Card. While trying on another user’s card, you may get the following error message:
Get authentication data
Choose Actions/Get Authentication button.
On this new page the previously entered data is displayed:
